Mental Health , Wellbeing & Inclusion

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, and support is always available.

We are committed to safeguarding the welfare, mental health and emotional wellbeing of all children and young people. We recognise that anyone may experience difficulties at different times and that early support is essential.

If a child or young person is worried, distressed, or at risk of harm, we will listen, take concerns seriously, and act in line with safeguarding procedures. Where immediate risk is identified, appropriate external support services and emergency services will be contacted.

Feeling worried or not okay?

Sometimes life feels hard. You might feel sad, angry, worried, stressed, confused, or just not yourself — and that’s okay.

You are not in trouble for feeling this way.

You are not weak for needing help.

And you never have to deal with things on your own.

There are people who care about you and want to help. You can talk to:

  • A trusted adult

  • A member of staff

  • Or one of the support services below, where you can chat, text or message someone confidentially

If you ever feel unsafe or scared, please tell an adult straight away or call 999.

You matter, and help is always okay to ask for.
